Old Railroad Inn Bed and Breakfast Customer Reviews

"Best place we stayed on our cross country trip from CA to NY! Cozy,  quaint & charming B&B...at an unbelievable price...especially for a B&B!  1888 Cool, historic railroad inn. Such a pretty room for my hubby with the most comfortable bed! Everything was fresh & clean. Breakfast was great with fresh picked veggies & fruit from their garden.  We're health nuts so we were happy! They even had reverse osmosis water! Joann was so friendly, nice, & accommodating in every way! Very personable unlike staying at a motel/hotel. We hope to stay here again on our way back!" Jeanne M.~ Newport Beach, Ca. ~9/11/2013~

Joann, What a nice cozy inn. Your place is very charming, comfortable, and it feels like home, plus this place is so rich in history~ just wish the walls could talk, the stories they could tell. Oh My~ and your breakfast was outstanding! The scrambled eggs and ham, the maple cured sausage, the cheesy hash browns, and the cocoa puff muffins were delicious. We are walking out of here today with our bellies full. Thank you for the stay, the home cooked breakfast, and your hospitality. Jerry & Carla~ Wayzata, MN. ~Oct. 5th 2013~

Clean and comfortable managed by long time owners. Historic rooming house for railroad workers converted to a B&B. Lots of authentic railroad artifacts, signs, etc. Food was excellent and the owner is very friendly and helpful. You are 15 -20 minutes from the Lake Okoboji/ Spirit Lake (Iowa) area. We will stay here again.

Fabulous place to stay for a night or for weeks! Professionally managed by a very friendly family. decoration is great as is the food ! One of the very best places I have ever visited on 5 continents !!

You will be treated like royalty and expect to have a restful time. Don't forget the food is excellent as well as the company. Number One in my book for a great bed & breakfast.
